Friday Flashback: Camping in Telluride

We went camping

with our mutts, George and Bailey,

in Telluride, Colorado.

We took our dogs on a few hikes

and saw some amazing sights.

This was probably in 1999 (give or take a year).

If you want to see our sweet mutts all cleaned up (and you know you do), I posted a picture on Owen Home .

Great pictures. The scenery is beautiful. God paints an awesome picture. Cute doggies too. They were both looking right at the camera too. Love it.

I'm so sorry to hear about Bailey! I know that was heartbreaking for you. I remember how cute they always were sitting SO close to each other all the time.Frasier and Ali are both 12 so I'm sure we will be headed down that path in the near future. I understand your feelings of anger too. I have those same feelings but about different issues. It is such a comfort to know that God does care and can definitely handle our anger. Hang in there, my friend!

Wow That is really beautiful! Sounds like fun, although we are not much of an outdoor family unless it invloves a football field! Cute puppies too!

So sorry about your doggie! I hate allergies too. Jakers has been on a nebulizer this week because of his cold in combination with stagnant air this week. I know after our dog Jake dies we won't be able to have any more dogs-unless allergy free (not my favorite type).
I am really sorry.

when Heather saw these pictures and post her first question was - Jane Anne went camping? i think its interesting for those of us who've only known you since you've been a mom to a couple of kiddos to see you in this light. loved seeing these pics and getting to know a little bit more of who you are outside of the role of MOM!
