So, really, did you think I was crazy for letting my husband butcher my 3 year-old's hair? Maybe you don't think mohawks are cute. I never have, either. Surely it made you laugh!!?? I keep trying to call him "Mo" but he says, You can call me "Mohawk".
So, really, if you think I was absolutely crazy to let my husband give my 3 year-old a mohawk, let me know. Or, just tell me what went through your head when you saw the pictures. Was it something like, "Oh my, she moved to a small town and became redneck."?
(By the way, hubby says I might just scare off all of my blog readers with this rant. I sure hope not.)

Oh, I think it's great! That's the neat thing about hair, though...if you don't like it, it will grow back! I think your son looks adorable!
Of course you aren't a redneck in a small town...I am! lol
Loooooooney Toooooons!
I think it's better than the tattoo idea - it's not permanent. :) I don't usually like mohawks, but seeing one on Thomas just fits somehow. He seems to just love it and I think it's great that you are that kind of mom.

I think it makes you a fun mom! Owen had one for a month or so a couple years and ago (and long enough to spike up fairly high) and I enjoyed both his enjoyment of it and everyone else's reactions to it! Of course, being as we are in the same small town, it may have just been another step on the road to redneck for us too.... :)
No, I did not think you were crazy. It grows back. It actually looked pretty cute.
I think you have to give a little, you know? Let him have his independence and express himself. I do not think you are crazy. I think you are an awesome mom who knows her 3 year old little boy. As for redneck? That started long ago in TN! HA :) Love you!!!
Yes I thought you were crazy, but you are so good at letting go! I wish I could not be such a control freak! Even thought I thought, no way! I was still impressed that you know which battles to fight!
Creeping out of lurker status to say tell you that you aren't crazy.
He's 3!! And he's cute! And he's just a little boy!
As moms we sometimes have to strike that balance between keeping boundries firmly in place and letting our children explore what THEY like.
He likes it, and it'll grow back soon enough. :)
