In 2002, my husband was in the Army on a remote tour (without wife and family) in Korea. My first son was 1 year old. My parents watched him for a couple of weeks and I went to Korea for a visit.
My husband and I were walking around in a Korean market when we had an opportunity to try on some traditional Korean clothes.
It took a minute or two to convince my husband to put on the clothes.
Aren't we one fashionable couple?
I love the expression on his face.
Such a happy gal!

That was NOT necessary!
What great pictures!!! That is really a unique experience!!
That hat makes the outfit, Seth! And it looks like Seth should be taking care of JA, since she's got no hands and all!
The outfit your husband is wearing is hilarious! What a great trip you got to take sans kiddos.
Oh my gosh I love these pictures. He is hysterical. I honestly could not tell who he was from the small picture on my dashboard. Hilarious.
LOL, you two look awesome!
Oh, you look cute! :)
I am loving Flashback Friday! Maybe you'll see one from us next week... :)
I think those are cool (even if your husband isn't quite thrilled you outed him!). My husband was stationed in Korea in 1985 and said it was one of the best experiences of this life...but I don't think he tried on any native costumes...hmmmm...
Seth looks so young!!!
You look just the same!
I love these pictures, they are my favorite Friday Flashback yet!
He looks less than thrilled. :)
Love the outfits!
Those are great pictures and I am sure great memories!!! Seth's comment made me LOL!!! That is such a husband for you!
LOL!!! How fun to have been able to do that! Did you buy the clothes???
LOL @ your husbands expression!
I just had the occasion to read your mother letter...
Good.
What??? You mean your hubby was reluctant to try on the Korean clothes???? I don't understand that at all! LOL
You two looked adorable. Sorry, Seth...I guess military men don't necessarily want to be described as adorable, huh? ;-)
your husband only further proved his masculinity by doing that! that is what mine would have said anyways!
Love the difference in your facial expressions.

Those pictures are too cute! How in the world did you get him to dress like that!? Bet you had a blast that day! Great flashback photo, thanks for sharing it!
My dad did two remote tours in Korea when I was a kid. He used to send back the BEST stuff for me and my brother. Looks like y'all had fun. Love the costumes! Don't mind at all. . . my hubby will be tickled. That's a pic I took of a big flag that hangs on our front porch! :)
JA - you haven't aged a day! Seth on the other hand, well . . . . . . .
