Not Fast Enough

Elsie has mastered climbing. She is fast. Tonight when I was making dinner, I turned around to see this. When she saw me with the camera, she loved it. I picked her up and put her on the floor. In moments (seconds) she was back in the chair. I picked her up again and again. I told her NO. I put her down again and again.

I saw this over and over and over. Finally, I just asked her, "What are you doing?!"

This is what she said:

So, that settles it.

She knows what she is doing and I am not fast enough.

Can't get the video to play, so I'll be back later. I have a little Speedy Gonzales on my hands, too. She taught her big brother everything she knows about climbing...

Oh totally. And I totally agree with her logic. I mean, after all, isn't that what tables are for, lol!

She is so adorable!!!!

Yeah, I always think it's funny when they try and encourage you like that. You know they can't see you and so do they.

Oooh, what a fun game :) I finally gave up and just moved all the chairs out of the room (we have a counter-height table in the kitchen) It was annoying to keep moving them back and forth (I ate a lot of meals standing up!) but it worked while we had to. Little buggers!
