Cousins are Cool

Here are a few things that my kids picked up from their visit with their cousins.

My oldest son: "How much is an IPOD?"
His 10 year cousin has one.

My youngest son: "My panties are not right."
He has been spending a little too much time with his girl cousins.

My second son: "I ain't goin' nowhere."
You really need to hear him say this one. Oh, he sounds Southern when he says it.

All 11 cousins on the Owen side of the family.

My parents and 7 of the cousins on the Queen side of the family.

You guys are sooo blessed. Natalie and Noelle have 3 cousins total - 2 on Matt's side and 1 on my side. What a blast for you to have your kids be able to spend time together.

Oh my goodness! Anna Marie is SO tall! And so old. Now if Jonathan gets an iPod before I do? Ugh. My MP3 player is officially declared "graveyard" with no more support. I guess I should pony up some dough for a new one. My nieces are SO excited to get their cousins this fall. We never had any growing up...lots of siblings, no cousins. Thanks for sharing these photos!

That is awesome. My Sister is here with her 4 kids for July. They are the only immediate cousins my kids have and we are enjoying it.

I would LOVE to hear your son saying, "I ain't goin' nowhere." He'd fit right in around here! Be sure that he pronounces "I" with a flat I sound. Also, the "where" in nowhere should be pronounced "whir"! LOL

Next, you need to teach him to say, "That don't mean nothin' noways." Then, send him to me...he'll be ready to live here! ;-)

What a fun trip! The kids look like they had a blast. Jaren wants a Ipod for his birthday this weekend too. Where this came from I have no idea.
