Friend Game
I got this idea from my friend Melissa. Here is a fun friend game...Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time or a long time. Comment about anything you remember. Next, if you have a blog, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog (or email you) and share a memory about you.

Two jump memories immediately came to mind:
1. The night you and Seth kidnapped me and took me to your home to spend the night when I was upset about having to miss college for surgery.
2. How you always sent the best cards or notes to me when I was in high school and college.
You were an awesome big sister and a huge encouragement to me in high school and college!
I love you!
Carrie
I remember the day that we both stood up to receive our pickles and ice cream at Mops. How wonderful that our God blessed us with our big desires (healthy babies) and our small ones too- a girl and a boy! =0)
I remember us constantly re-arranging our office furniture. :) That was so much fun! And although, I loved my own office, I did miss you. I also remember how you and Seth took me in when Maggie died. That meant a lot to me. Thanks.
I have so many memories that I don't know which one to comment on. I'm sure that Carrie felt the same way!
I'll have to say that I remember you telling the story of when Seth was gone with the army somewhere and your car got "smashed" by the garage door. I remember thinking right then and there that we had to become friends with you guys so that the next time your husband was going to be gone we could be there to help you out! My nefarious plan worked and you've been stuck with me ever since!!!!!
My reply to my sister Carrie (via email - but I decided I wanted to post the email responses):
One of my most favorite memories of being with you was when we dressed up as clowns and we down to the UT pool to cheer up mom. That was so much fun! Such a great sister moment!
I also remember well when you graduated from Virginia Tech. I was so proud of you and thankful to be there to help you celebrate.
My reply to my friend Amy:
I remember our daily coffee breaks from work. In my mind, you are totally responsible for my love relationship with Starbucks (and I love you for it!).
I remember a long and fun drive back from Denver after seeing a play. We drove until the jeep said we only had 7 miles until empty.
I remember suffering through playings of the Jackson 5 as I tried to work!
Amy- I also hold you accountable and responsible for Janey's addiction to that low quality coffee. You owe me!
Amy- I also have about three years of great memories that you are woven into. I am so thankful that you were with Janey to find out the gender of our first born since I couldn't be there. I loved you hanging out at our house and around The Springs with you for those years. (Janey is tearing up remembering now...)
Ah...the Jackson 5! I loved tormenting you, JJ, with that CD! :):) And thank you Seth. I'm tearing up remembering those three years too. I really loved the time I was able to spend with you two. And it's true---Jonathan will always have a special little place in my heart, the Colorado born Owen. ;) And as for the coffee? I'm so proud of you JJ for accepting the addiction with dignity and grace. And don't let Seth take that away! :):)
Amy- Did Jane Anne ever mentiont o you that since being in Korea, I have drank no less than 24 ounces of coffee a day... every day? Can I blame you for that as well?
Seth - I'm not so sure you can blame that on me. I tried to get you addicted and all you'd ever say is: "I love the smell but HATE the taste." Blah blah blah...JJ and I would just roll our eyes and now look at you! I think it's Korea that did that to you! :) :)
And I still remember to this day JJ and I completely embarrassing you so much so that you had to leave the room. Do YOU remember that? hahahaha JJ, do you?? That was fun.
I don't have a specific memory, but it just seems like every time I'm around you, my spirits are lifted, and your insights into life and faith really resonate with me. I feel so blessed that you are a part of our community - I can understand why your friends and family love and miss you guys so much!!
Cameo - I have to say your comment was incredibly touching. It was sweet and Seth has used it to encourage me recently. So, thank you. I am thankful to have your friendship.
Amy Jo- Seth and I cannot remember what we did to embarrass him so badly. My memory is really bad. Remind me... you decide if you should post it or just email me.
I think Amy Jo should let us ALL in on the joke that embarrassed Seth so badly! Inquiring minds want to know!!!!
