Soccer Saturday Can be Hard

This past Saturday was the perfect Saturday for soccer. Unlike the last 2 Saturdays, one of which had 90 degree temperatures and the other of which had lots of rain, the weather was perfect.

Even with perfect weather, soccer Saturdays can be hard.

Our 3 boys play on 2 different teams. On Saturday, both games were being played at the same time.

It was hard for my oldest not to have Momma there to see him finish his game and earn his first win.

It was hard for Coach Dad to miss his youngest boys game.

It was hard to wait until after the game to go swing.

It was hard for the soccer mom to remember to get in a picture.

And, hardest of all, it was hard (traumatic even), to fall down in the wet grass.

But, it was worth it, right? I'm glad you had perfect weather.

Such a great mom to be there for all the games, even at the same time! That is definitely hard work! Such great pictures and beautiful weather!

I am right there with you. I have three in three different places. I am running like a crazy Momma all over the field trying to watch them all. Cute pictures. I hate wet grass too.

I remember my parents running in between games to watch us. :) Even for five minutes it meant a lot to have them there!

Yup..you totally described a soccer day!! My husband coaches too, and that helps alot!

Our weather last weekend was 100 degrees, so you can imagine!!! UGH!

I tried to catch you this weekend at the games, but missed you. Poor Jaren and I got so sunburned at the game. I was able to put sunscreen on the other two, but Jaren had to play the whole game. Next weekend I will put it on prior to the games starting. Unless we have rain again. HEHE

Yes, it was a hard day! Hopefully next Saturday is more memorable for better reasons!

Alright, I really have to fess up- it wasn't that hard. I mean, I missed seeing all of the games (that was hard on this Momma) but we all had a blast and the weather was wonderful.

I just thought this would make a cute post, especially with the expression on Elsie's face when she was in the wet grass.

Soccer Saturdays seem like so much fun...even if you can't be everywhere at once. :)

what cute pictures! We've started soccer saturdays as well, though my little guy is having a hard time leaving mom to play in the game! Glad you had a great day!

Oh I'm feelin' it! It was hard to finish Shelby's game in Albany, return to the car to find a flat tire! It was hard to keep two kids entertained in a busy parking lot for 45 minutes waiting for Les Schwab to show up! It was hard to hurry home, change clothes and have Tristan still miss half of his game in Lebanon....it was hard that both kids lost their games....it was hard trying to get them to focus on the fun, not the scores!
