My Princess is One
I got the sweetest idea from my friend Jill. She took pictures of her daughter in her wedding dress on her 1st birthday. She took them again recently when her daughter turned two. They were absolutely precious. I was inspired. I was also very excited because I heard about the idea before Elisabeth's birthday.
I called my mom and asked her to bring my wedding dress with her when she flew out to visit. We had so much fun taking pictures of Elisabeth in my dress! She was a princess.

O Man...I had mine perserved. So mine is stuck in a box all tucked away. What a great idea though. I hope that they will some day wear mine though.

that is truly the cutest picture ever!!!!! you HAVE to blow up that last one and hang it on the wall!!! how precious is she!!!! this is a great idea but my dress has also been preserved and well my kids are a little older than one but still how sweet would it be to see them in the gown i wore to marry their daddy!!!!

There are some things I just wished I'd learned of 12 years ago. This is one. I'm so glad you posted these, Jane Anne. Definitely a fabulous idea. You'll treasure these forever.
Jane Anne, maybe as a guy I see this differently, but my first thought is, "wow, I did not realize how small you were."

Oh my, what a great idea. I may have to borrow that one. I always say, I hope my daughter want's to wear my dres.. Well there is my chance to see her in my dress.
