Five Years

I have spent the last few days thinking about David's birth. It was unbelieveable. When I think about it I am still amazed. I won't describe the details. I will just say that I was not prepared at all for his arrival. He came 5 weeks early. He was breech and a bit difficult to get out during the suddenly necessary c-section. He spent time in the NICU and had a year of physical therapy.

He was fragile.

He was precious.

Now he is the Man of Steel.

Superman is 5!

Awesome pictures! God is so good. He has an awesome plan for David's life. This is evident by what all David has gone through. God was there through the NICU, the physical therapy, and the allergies because He has BIG plans for your super man!

It just doesn't seem possible that he is 5. He was the baby!! I think I'll have a heart attack when I read the blog of Thomas turning 5.
He looks so happy to be 5.

How do they grow up so fast? When they're that tiny it seems like they will never change. It makes me all emotional :) Happy birthday to David.

I think the Lord helps preemies become "men of steal" since they had to start out so little and helpless!! What a total cutie!
